Dr. Jocie Weeden grew up in Hillsdale, Michigan. She attended Boston University initially, but received her Bachelor’s Degree in sociology from the University of Michigan. Her Doctor of Dental Surgery and her Masters in Orthodontics were obtained at the University of Michigan as well. Dr. Weeden is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry in the Graduate Orthodontic Department. She is also involved in many professional oriented activities and is the past president and past editor for the Michigan Association of Orthodontists. She served for many years on the Great Lakes Orthodontic Association Board and was President in 2018. Dr. Weeden is currently a Delegate for the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Weeden lives in Saline and has four children: Elizabeth, Nathan, Katherine, and Victoria. She enjoys traveling, reading, running, and biking.
Barb is a Registered Dental Assistant who has worked in orthodontics since 1990, and joined Dr. Weeden when she started practicing in Adrian in 1999. She graduated from Ferris State University in 1986 with an Associates Degree in Dental Assisting. Barb’s responsibilities include all clinical procedures, fabricating some of our appliances and daily statistics which are used to help us improve our service in the clinic. In addition, she is our clinic coordinator. She keeps everyone headed in the right direction. Barb resides in Manitou Beach with her husband, Matt, and her dog, Breslin. Her oldest son, Jaron, and his wife reside in South Lyon with their three children. Connor and his wife reside in Adrian and have one child. In her leisure time, Barb enjoys golfing, working out, watching football (especially MSU), puzzles and Netflix.
Danielle is our treatment coordinator, who has worked in the dental field over the course of 14 years. She familiarizes new patients with our office, gathers information about them, and works with Dr. Weeden throughout the initial examination and coordinates the start of treatment. She also facilitates communication with other dental offices regarding various dental procedures needed by our patients. Danielle resides outside of Adrian with her husband, Matt, son Jayden, daughter Lillian and dog, Wally. Her oldest son, Jayden, attends Madison schools and plays multiple sports including football, basketball and golf. Her youngest daughter, Lillian, is in the Elementary of Madison schools. Danielle enjoys spending time at sporting events cheering on her kids, watching all Michigan sports, camping, vacationing, visiting family and lifting weights.
Sherri is a clinical assistant. When she’s not assisting in the clinic, she is helping keep our supplies ordered. She has been in the dental field since 2017 and has a degree from Ross College. When she’s not at the office she can be found helping at her family’s bakery, kayaking, biking, hiking the local trails with her three dogs(Camo, Henna and Moose) or spending time with friends and family.
Kayla is our appointment and financial coordinator. She is one of the first people who will greet you on the phone and in person at the office. She is new to the field of orthodontics but is looking forward to serving the patients of our clinic. Kayla resides in Adrian with her 3 children and enjoys spending her free time in nature–hiking, running and swimming.
Aaron was introduced to the dental field through the program at the LISD tech center, where he was top of his class. He looks forward to gaining more experience and knowledge while working in the dental field. Aaron attends Jackson College, where he plans to get his dental hygiene degree. In his free time, he loves to be with friends and family and enjoys watching debates and reading books. He has been both our sterilization technician and our laboratory technician. He is transitioning into more clinical duties as he continues his education.
